What are the transactions that do not qualify for cashback on YouBiz card?

Unlimited cashback on your YouBiz card is awarded only on eligible card transactions, which exclude transactions listed below (“Excluded Transactions”) made on your YouBiz card.

The following types of transactions will be considered Excluded Transactions, and no cashback reward will be provided:

  • Bank, payment wallets, including but not limited to PayLah!, PayPal, Singtel Dash, GrabPay, ShopeePay, Revolut, Wise, Lazada Wallet, Amaze

  • Investment, brokerage, remittance, insurance, and cryptocurrency platforms

  • Bill payment service providers or aggregators, including but not limited to AXS and SAM

  • Buy-Now-Pay-Later service providers, including but not limited to Atome, Hoolah, Pace, Rely 

  • Transit card or app top-up

  • Any payment made with the following Merchant Category Code ("MCC"):

    • MCC 4829, 6011, 6012, 6050, 6051, 6540 - Money Transfer, Financial Services and Funding-related payments

    • MCC 5960, 6211, 6300, 6513 - Investment, Brokerage, Insurance, and Real Estate related payments

    • MCC 5047, 8062 - Hospital-related payments

    • MCC 8211, 8220, 8241, 8244, 8249, 8299 - Schools and Educational related payments

    • MCC 8398, 8651, 8661, 8699 - Charities, Political Organisations, and Religious Organisations related payments

    • MCC 9211, 9222, 9223 - Fines, Court Costs, Bail and Bond payments

    • MCC 9311 - Tax payments

    • MCC 9399, 9402, 9405 - Government and related payments

    • MCC 4111 - Bus/MRT and other local/suburban commuter passenger transport, including ferries or water transport)

    • MCC 4784, 7523 - Toll and Bridge Fees, Parking Lots, Parking Meters and Garages

    • MCC 4900 - Utilities – Electric, Gas, Water, Sanitary

    • MCC 5199 - Nondurable Goods (Not Elsewhere Classified)

    • MCC 5814 - Fast Food Restaurants

    • MCC 5944 - Retail clocks, jewellery, watches, and silverware

    • MCC 5965 - Direct Marketing – Combination Catalogue and Retail Merchants

    • MCC 5993 - Cigar Stores and Stands

    • MCC 7349 - Cleaning and Maintenance, Janitorial Services

    • Any unposted, voided, cancelled, disputed or reversed transactions within the calendar
      month for any reason
